Now then...
where we before we were so rudely interrupted
by me swanning off to have a baby?
;-)
Let's get back to our girl's bedrooms series, shall we?
If you cast your minds back to my pre-baby-yabbering,
we're in the middle of decorating this room:
I got as far as sharing that we've split the space into two bedrooms
and have painted what will be the girls' bedroom in
Two of our girls will be sharing the bedroom. It's a small double room so bed-space is an issue when you also factor in the need for copious amounts of toy-storage.
We're big fans of bunk-beds for children's rooms.
They just look so much fun!
Sleepover, anyone?

Sarah,
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of bunk beds! When we moved to the two~story Victorian, I begged for a Trundle bed...but instead was given a full size bed for sleep~overs!!! Looking forward to more photos forthcoming!
Fondly,
Pat
I love bunk beds! We actually want to get one for our daughter, and turn the bottom bunk into a play area.
ReplyDeleteI SO look forward to seeing what you come up with. I have been deliberating about the perfect arrangement for my twin girls room for the past 2 years! I love the built in bunk beds in your inspiration pics - I'd LOVE to do something like that, but then again, I think that matching vintage twin beds are cute too...! By the time I finally do something about it, I fear that they'll have upped sticks and left home already!!

Hello sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteI am dying to see what you have come up with, and of course I have no doubt it is going to be gorgeous! :) It can be so tricky figuring out what to do when two children share a room...our girls had bunk beds for several years, too! They are a great solution for shared spaces for sure! :)
I hope you have a beautiful Friday!
Blessings and hugs,
Jenni
Oh my! Congratulations! Your baby girl is beautiful! I hadn't read your blog in a while (obviously) and I was just thinking about you. I hope you have a great week-end =)
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah
ReplyDeleteI grew up with bunk beds in our cottage at the lake. We were a family of six kids and the cottage only had 3 bedrooms. Hence there were 2 sets of bunks in the big bedroom (for the 4 boys) and my sister and I shared a bedroom with twin beds. I always yearned to have my own bunk bed (me having the top bunk of course!)... sadly it never happened.
I love the built in bunks with the permanent ladders that double as shelves! What fun!
Can't wait to see what you end up doing... :)
Have fun on this beautiful weekend. Hope you are having as good weather there as we are here as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede... Yeehaw!
Take care
Cath
