Kate Forman's Country Christmas

This is the fabric designer Kate Forman's country house at Christmas. Isn't it beautiful? I love the combination of the red with the candlelight. Delicious...

I hope you're keeping warm. We have snow!! I'm hoping, hoping, hoping that we're going to have my first EVER White Christmas this year.

{Please, please, pleeeeeeeeease?}

In the meantime, I'm off to have a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

{Yum!}

  25. Thanks for sharing these swoon-worthy photos, Sarah! I know little of the British designers in this vein besides Atlanta Bartlett and Christina Strutt, so I'll be checking out this lady now.

    And this post is so timely for me as I have to admit I'm on a UK-period-homes-magazine-binge lately because, well, the Brits do gorgeous floral fabrics and muted loveliness better than anyone else.

    I picked up the December issue of Period Living the other day and am being a very good girl to not look at it until Christmas since it's a stocking stuffer to myself.

    Hope you have a wonderful, snowy Christmas with your family!

    Take care,
    Erin

  32. I hope you get your white Christmas! Last year we got one here in Oklahoma. Everyone was complaining because it ruined travel plans for some but we were snug in our new red farmhouse by the wood burning stove and absolutely loved it. Hubby pulled the sled around the pasture with the SUV too. So fun. I will never forget it!

  33. Happy Holidays! Love the fabric on the couch and dining room chairs, has that soft slightly worn look that is so appealing to me...

  34. Thanks so much Sarah for responding to my questions! I searched the internet for pictures and they look like something I would really enjoy. I had no idea my email was set up that way. Oops! I need to figure out how to fix that. Thanks again! I am so happy to have found your blog and have you as a friend!!!! xo

    Ps. Is it snowing yet?

  35. Love the gorgeous home photos! So do you have a good amount of snow?!?! That would be fun for your Christmas, I think we have always had snow, heck here in Minnesota we now have 29 inches total! It is crazy, that is why we went sledding down the stairs and outside (just like in Home Alone), did you see our blog about it, pretty funny!

  36. Hi Sarah! Oh, I'm so jealous that you may have a white Christmas! We had a white Thanksgiving but that isn't quite the same. I love the pics in this post and they just look so warm and cozy and like a quintessential English Christmas to me. We had mulled wine for the first time at a party last night and I LOVED it! Yum! Hope you are enjoying being all snug and cozy this week!
