30 For 30: Maternity Outfits....

Did anyone ever tell you how lovely you are?
YOU'RE TRULY, TRULY LOVELY!

{As a Thank You present, please accept these gifts of pregnant celebrity images...I know, so generous...it's the best I can do over this here internet....if, you prefer, you can imagine me giving you a great big hug...}

Thank you so much for all your kind, kind, kind words.
We've been completely overwhelmed (in a very happy way) by your sweet emails, Facebook messages and comments.
You're the very best, you cutie patootie, you.

I am soooooo excited and pleased and more excited and more pleased to be able to fiiiiinally share our exciting news with you all about our little Sugarplum: Project Baby is well on its little way. You have no idea how hard it was keeping my secret from you.

And now you know why there have been no fashion posts for a good few months. I've been in that has-she-eaten-a-loooooottttttt-or-could-she-be-pregnant? phase for quite some time.

Not good for photos. Not good at all, my friends.
{But thank you for hounding me about it., all the same.}

Sooooo...the details.
I'm about halfway...which means about four and a months to go. All the early horrors have passed {throwing up every time I laugh? Nice. Stop being so funny, sweet cheeks...} and I'm loving watching my body completely transform itself into a whole new shape.  And knowing its all happening for such an awesome purpose.
Go, baby, go.

 Which leads me very nicely onto my plan...

I'm putting together a 30 for 30: Maternity Outfits series here on Modern Country Style.

Here are the rules:
I have to choose 30 pieces and remix them over 30 days to produce 30 different outfits.

So now, I'm off to pick 'em out....

Wish me luck, my pretties.
{I'm gonna need it...and remind me why I started this off showing you pictures of perfectly-styled celebs? Am I crazy?!}

  3. You darling thing ... I bet you look adorable. May I steal your ideas for my much needed new wardrobe. I made myself wear baggy clothes until I lost 30 pounds. Now I must shop ... but I don't have your fashion sense.

    Sugar plum ... I am praying for you.

    Fondly,
    Glenda

  14. Congratulations Sarah! I am so happy for you! What an exciting time in your life. I loved being pregnant with both of my boys..well not the morning sickness part but the overall pregnancy. Have people asked to touch your belly yet? That always cracked me up when people did that! Even though we are done having kids, I am looking forward to all the outfits! Best wishes for you!

  21. Can't wait to see your outfits...I think there is nothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman...especially if she's in a killer evening gown! Do you have any balls to attend in the near future?? I have a great photo at home of me, 24 years ago, very pregnant with my daughter, in my Aussie flag print bikini...my mother-in-law was horrified at my big belly sticking out...but I was proud of that photo! Enjoy your body shape...it's absolutely amazing what our bodies can do..Robx

  24. Congratulations on this wonderful news!! My baby, Kevin, is now 29 years old and married last March!! So, it has been quite some time since I was pregnant. I am patiently waiting on grandchildren now :) The clothes challenge is wonderful. Gone are the days when a woman has to wear tents. Thank goodness! I would show off this miracle every chance I got!! 25. Lovely choices, I didn't want to spend loads of cash on my mat wardrobe so I became addicted to wrap dresses and lots of leggings. A fun pair of shoes and LOTS of jewelery at least let me feel more like myself.

    I would LOVE if you linked to my party next week. I'm kicking myself I didn't mention it to you before.

    I'm also hosting my first ever (alone) party with a romance theme on Jan. 30th. Hope you'll be there!
