Modern Country bedroom Inspiration....

Having had four littlies around for the last ten or so years, I was determined for our bedroom to be an absolute haven. Not from the littlies themselves so much, but from the stresses and strains of being in demand all day every day.

I wanted to make it a sanctuary for Mr Modern Country and I to sink into at the end of each day.  A place where we could brush the cares of the world aside and be together...

just me and him....

My perfect bed is......

 laden with pillows.....

a place to read.....

gorgeous even when unmade.....

a little bit glamourous....

good for a family midnight feast.....

surrounded by restful colours....

soft and snuggly.....

soporifically soothing....

my favourite place to be.....

  3. I love the image of the family all cozy in bed together. When my kids were little they would often climb into bed with my husband and me. It made for some sweet cuddle time! thanks for sharing!!

  6. Dear Sarah, Yes, I can well imagine your sinking into that wonderfully comfortable and exceptionally pretty bed at the end of a tiring day. Bliss!!

As for me, the antique brass bedstead is very Victorian but cannot, I regret to say, be relied upon for a good night's sleep. Time for a change?

  7. My littlies are still very little but I dream of the day me and Mr MummysLife can have our own perfect sanctuary, and I think it will be much like the pictures you have.

  17. Ah, a nice bedroom is essential. Ours is blue but we do have a few things left to sort out when it comes to decorating. We've only been in the house for three years! Lately we have work more on the childrens bedrooms since they are not little babies anymore.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  22. Of course, everyone likes modern things to make life more comfortable. The modern bedroom looks so attractive and I’m gonna fall in love with it. Every old thing and service I had was changed and included the thing and service. In my new list of modern things, I include Do My SPSS Assignment help as a problem-solving SPSS writing task.

  24. The combination of modern and country elements in the bedroom designs showcased here is both charming and practical. It's refreshing to see how you can achieve a stylish look without splurging on high-end decor items.
