Notice any changes around here?
Did you see?
Did you notice the change at
the top of my blog?
It probably doesn't seem like a biggie to you
but let's just say I don't think I have ever
p r o c r a s t i n a t e d as much as I have for
putting those li'l tabs up there.
See 'em?
One small step for man, one humongous leap for
Modern Country Style.
Errrrr.....why did it take me so long?
Who knows?
Who knows the evil mind of the
{small} part of my brain responsible
for any procrastinating that goes on around here?
{Oh, and if you can think of any
more tabs that you'd like
to see up there, then
I'd love to hear from you.}
How to contact me?
Ohooooh.
*very pleased face*
So glad you asked, sweetie pips.
There's a tab up there for that too.
Now...on with the show...
Welcome to Step 4 of
Makeover Your Kitchen:
Finding Your Style.
Step 4 is all about seeing what's
out there to use as inspiration.
Here's the deliciousness
that's coming up on
Modern Country Style.
I'll be taking aspects of kitchen style I love
and then showing how I've worked that
loveliness into our kitchen.
Starting tomorrow,
with a little bitta country.
Mmmmmm......

I know what you are talking about- I have been wanting to get a couple of buttons up on my sidebar that I keep putting off -maybe today ;)Can't wait to see what you are going to put up tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteSarah, you are hilarious...'wanna look at my tabs'...thought that sounded like something you might only do in private....Country kitchens sounds like my kinda post...look forward to seeing your images. Toodle pip! Robx

I'm procrastinating the tabs as well. I don't know why I think that whatever I think I put up there has to be perfect. I've decided, again, that I want a yellow bedroom. Feel free to stop me.
ReplyDeleteI like the "About Sarah" tab :) The blog is looking lovely.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I finally put the tabs up there and now I have to finish them. My "recipes" box is pathetically under-used, and my sister keeps asking when I'm going to update it. Ugh. A bloggers work is never done, right?
ReplyDeleteThe tabs are brilliant, Sarah, but then I'd expect nothing less from you.
ReplyDeleteLove the tabs Sarah. I've been thinking about doing that too, but I'm still on the fence about it :)
ReplyDeleteI need tabs!!
ReplyDeletePs Important question. I am thinking of painting a table in lamp room grey, what do you think?
The tabs give your blog a personal and defined feel! The "House Tour" button is brilliant! I know they are a lot of work. I think you need some chocolate now :)
ReplyDeleteA good day to you...

Hey they're awesome! I love tabs on blogs, it makes it so easy to see what you want to see. Sometimes new followers like to "catch up", and tabs make it easy to do that.
ReplyDeleteHow about a "fashion" tab? I really loved your Modern Country Style clothing post, with Kate and then mirrored by you Sarah. xxx
Your tabs look wonderful Sarah- would love to know how to do that!
ReplyDeleteLove the tabs! I've been meaning to do that for SO long!! When I found out I could add more pages on my blog I thought I should put tabs at the top...i still need to do it!
ReplyDeleteI second what Michelle said! love the new tabs!
ReplyDeleteLove the tabs Sarah! Looks great. Can't wait to see more of what you have in store for your home. It is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteSarah, you are a delight. I love your title . . . "Wanna look at my tabs?" I am still laughing.
ReplyDeleteA few months ago, I added tabs, too, but I had to have my daughter come help me.
Hey, the coffee pot is on . . . I was going to invite you over to watch the last Oprah . . . but it is really boring.
Fondly,
Glenda
Hehehe....love the procrastination pic. I AM ALIVE! Thanks for poppin in love :)

Your blog is growing up! :) Love your about Sarah tab, too. Hoping all is happy.
ReplyDeleteHey, what nice tabs you have! I'm drooling!
ReplyDeleteWainting impatiently for your next kitchen post, I'm translating all your good advice every evening to my mum on the phone. We're facing a problem with cabinet glass doors, none here seems to be "cottage-y" enough!
Love your tabs!! :)
ReplyDeleteI dont have any tabs:(
One day....
Have a great week sweetie! xoxoxo

Hello dear Sarah,
ReplyDeleteYour new changes look wonderful! Remember what you asked me about recently? Maybe you could add something about that in the "About Me" department. I know you will, you are such a darling girl!
Also, I am anxiously awaiting this post on figuring out my style, hope to learn something from it tomorrow.
Love and hugs, Cindy
So excited to see your ideas. P.S. You're so cute about your tabs and I totally get it. I have all sorts of ideas that I want to do on my blog. What is Scarlett's famous line from Gone with the Wind? ..."I'll think about that tomorrow." Heehee
ReplyDeleteIt's ok. I'm a procrastinator too
ReplyDeleteAh guess which is my favourite tab, not very observant so it might not even be new, but off to take a look now. :)
ReplyDeleteSarah, I have been working on a 'Home Tour' tab for about 2 months! Well done you for getting it all done, looks fab! x
ReplyDeleteLove the tabs and how you have them arranged. It is so nice to be able to "explore" your home and find out more about you. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah! The new bloggy header is just awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, that is a HILARIOUS procrastination image. Lovely tabs, BTW. I've been working on mine lately, which I dragged my feet on too :) XOL
ReplyDeleteOh this is so me. I am the queen of procrastination. Love the picture of it too. :) I have been meaning to do tabs also. I do like yours. People keep saying I should have an about me on my blog. I will get right on that!
ReplyDeleteYep...I love my little tabs, too. Most of them are *under construction* but fun to have.
