Tunic: Crave Maternity, Scarf: Accessorise, Boots: Nine West
Is it just me or do the words Scarf and Luuurve combine in your brain to make you think of Scurvy? Please banish that thought from your mind's eye (I'm talking to you, me) and let's get on with happier thoughts...
I love that scarf-in-your-hair hippy chick thang. The whole sixties boho country vibe makes me want to do a little boogie. I imagine mini-skirted, bescarved women sauntering bare foot through golden fields of wheat. A million miles off the f-f-freeezing weather here in England. But still worth a little boogie, I think.
So that's the scarf...and, paired with the boots and the tunic dress, it brings it bang-slap up to 2012.
That's what I love. Country with a Modern twist. Do you?
Oh, wait....
That'll be Modern Country Style.
You're in the right place, honeypops...
I love this look!! Leggings with a long sweater has always been one of my favs. Baby Bump looks quite the cutie in this outfit :) Hugs, Jan

ReplyDeleteI think baby bump adds an extra special something to that jumper!
ReplyDeleteI had an remnant of pink sari fabric that I nearly wore out that I used as a headwrap! Suppliers didn't always remember my name, but knew me as the girl in the headscarf!

Wow... you look great in this outfit. Love that blue and the little blue gray scarf... it all looks great together.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what 'bang-slap' is...but I like it!~ Pat
Adorable! Maybe I'll give it a try:)
ReplyDeleteI love tunic dresses and yours looks lovely -now get back in the warm, it's brass monkeys out there today!
ReplyDeleteOh the little baby is trying to get noticed! Looking good!
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see people "lurve-ing" something, I always think of scurvy! I'm glad I'm not the only one. Scarf lurve is definitely only one step away...but your outfit is not in any way related to scurvy or any other deficiency disease :). I love the nod towards 60's style while still being very relevant.
ReplyDeleteYou have a fab style!

Lovin' that blue color tunic! I like the scarf look on you. I like to wear a cloth headband but can't stand the long tales of the scarf.
ReplyDeleteThe bump is lookin' good!

LOVE the blue tunic Sarah. So comfy too! I tried my leggings on last night and they didn't fit!!! I'm only 12 weeks along! YIKES.
ReplyDeleteMust have those boots! Adorable as always.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I would look like a total goof with a scarf in MY hair but you wear it well! I do love scarves (around my neck :) -- in fact, my daughter was studying in India and brought back bunches of them . . . so fun!

You have the cutest pregnant belly! I like the boho chic scarf look. I know this is random but I was thinking about writing a post about all of these oranges I recently bought and saying we are definitely not suffering from scurvy at our house...and then I read scurvy on your post, which I never thought I'd see that word mentioned on a blog post, ha! Random silly thoughts!
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable!!

Could you be any cuter! I love the outfit - tunic, boots...and the scurvy headscarf!
ReplyDeleteYou are just adorable...
ReplyDeleteLook good lady! I never had a small neat bump like that :-( I always wanted 5 children, but stopped at three. The size of our house at the time and how very awful the third child was put us off having another. I did get very, very broody when he was 5, but it was too late then.
ReplyDeleteLove you to x
Great head-scarf, you look truly tremendous. I'm a big fan of tunicy things, I think they look so cute and pretty. Plus, I love the way your brain works with scarf + luurve = scurvy, you are hilarious!

You look in the pink except it is blue, but you know what I mean. You just exude health and happiness, one of the best adverts for pregnancy ever.xx
ReplyDeleteCutest little pregnant lady ever !! Look at your slim trim self with the little baby bump ! So Pretty !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit, looks so comfy.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.

I luurve scarfs too and I luurve seeing your smiley cuteness every morning, you make me smile. :)
ReplyDeletexoxoxo
I'm tellin ya, girl....you make PREGNANT look sooo cute. ))
ReplyDeleteForget the giggles, I'm laughing right out loud, now. Yes - it does make me think 'scurvy' but only now that you've mentioned it. Thanks! =]
ReplyDeleteWhat's also funny is that I just got my hair cut - think Juliette Binoche in 'Chocolat' and am on a mission, tomorrow, to purchase... drumroll, please.... oh, silly, of course, you know....head scarves! Why don't I own any? I haven't really been living, I guess. Well, will soon remedy THAT! ...and I'll saunter through our field - not barefoot but, I'll saunter in the golden sun....with my scarf and all will be well.=]
Thanks for the smiles! =D
Your look lur-ver-ly.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
