Jacket: Next, Jumper: Fat Face, Skirt: Crave Maternity, Tights: Marks and Spencers, Boots: Faith
Do you know one of the completely superficial things that I love about being pregnant? I can announce on a whim, "I'm just going to put my feet up for ten minutes....or an hour...or two weeks {and why not? - in for a penny, in for a pound...} and no one can accuse me of being lazy because I am hard at work making our baby.
Watching tv? And growing dimpled little hands.
Dozing on the sofa. But also making eyes.
Drinking a lovely cup of tea? Yes, while manufacturing the softest, downiest hair.
See? All idle-related accusations fall by the wayside.
Muahahahaaaa...
Muahahahaaaa...
I'm not convinced by this jacketted ensemble today...I LOVE this coat when I'm my normal shape. It nips in snugly on my waist but, at the moment, it highlights all the wrong bits. No nipping in at all - in fact, if anything, it nips OUT my waist. Not good. I think it will be consigned to post-pregnant wardrobe heaven for now...
Anyway, I'm just off for a wee ziz....I've got a little cutie to grow...
Am not going to read your blog whilst eating my lunch any more... you make me green with envy! You look soooo lovely - this outfit is gorge. Love the skirt, jumper, tights... ooh just everything. xxx
ReplyDeleteI don't think pregnant women are suppose to worry about whether a jacket nips at the waist or not. HA! You look gorgeous! I'm lovin' the tights with the boots! Now, you make sure you make the cutest baby!

Just warning you but you know you are probably growing a little fashionista in there, little MCS is probably considering her best camera angle right now.
ReplyDeleteI think growing a baby is a noble thing to do. You deserve any rest/refreshment you need.
ReplyDeletep.s. I've been working on a little something with teeny little yo yos. :)
yeah- i agree... don't worry about where the jacket hits! you are ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteLovely tights, Mrs MCS. WEll lovely everything. Even the jacket. Yes, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your zzzzzzzzs.
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I've been ultra lazy recently; sloping off to bed too early hasn't helped. I have no excuse.
You take lots of care (and zzzzs) now. xx
You look adorable...and rest as often as you need...because even while your resting, your still creating.
ReplyDeleteLoving those cowboy boots and big comfy sweater :)

The Other Side of Gray
sarah, loving the boots along with the rest of the outfit. Keep up the good work growing that little one.
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome. In the third picture you don't even look pregs. So cute!
ReplyDeleteWhen you write it down like that, then, WOW, it IS pretty amazing what is happening, isn't it? (This coming from a no children lass!).
ReplyDeleteI love that you look so fabulous and chi-chi and pregnant!
How awful did Amanda Holden look at the BGT auditions at The Lowry? Why on earth did she feel she needed to dress like that? She's a pretty little thing, why the 'mutton' route? I think anyone who's expecting needs your 30 for 30 sent to their Inbox every day...for 9 months!
Z xx
I love the sort of escape from normal life that pregnancy brings, too. You don't have to feel so bad about getting chubbier because it's for a great cause, and you get to rest when you need to instead of having to fall ill if you need a break :). Keep workin', hot mama!
ReplyDeleteoh that's so sweet! A wonderful and amazing thing to be doing, growing a little human being in your tummy, and yes, take a break to help the littl'un grow as often and for as long as you like!
ReplyDeleteAnd your outfit ensemble looks GREAT - *you* look great!
Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog.... I will be stalking you right back! lol x x

I hear you about the post-pregnancy wardrobe... I have just relegated some of my fave things to it. :) Never mind. Enjoy your bump shape - it won't last forever. Besides, you look fab (and since I am on #3, about a month behind you, and look way bigger than you - I think you look even more awesome!!! lol).
ReplyDeleteHave fun dressing your "now shape" - I'm enjoying the series. :)
Absolutely hilarious about having a cup of tea or a sleep AND growing a baby!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are hard at work and looking lovely again - Well done!
