It's Mothers' Day this Sunday in the UK and,
not to sound too greedily expectant,
but I thought I'd suggest a little something present-wise for
your Modern Country kitchen.
Take a look at these gorgeous heart-shaped dishes from Jules China...
Aren't they perfect?
Jules China first caught my eye a few years ago when they were featured in Country Living and I've hankered after their heart-shaped oven-ware ever since! I thought they'd be extraordinarily expensive because they're hand-made but it turns out they're very reasonable indeed.
They've got a lovely rustic finish,
and come with a gorgeous little hook for hanging.
I picked out the larger size in Smoke and two of the smaller dishes in Cherry but they come in a whole range of beautiful colours.
I love the Modern Country colour combination
of the Cherry and the Smoke together.
They gets LOTS of use in our home, from snacks at parties, to floating candles, to cooking crumbles, to just looking all-round perfect on my kitchen shelves!
{Or leave your computer open on Modern Country Style for your whole family to get the hint!}
Enjoy!
I forgot that Mother's Day is earlier in England. That means we have even longer to drop some heart shaped hints. These are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHave just washed up my lovely Jules Gratin Dish, they are great I love the texture and feel of them and also the colours, think I might try bright red next time I have the lovely pale grey/blue.
ReplyDeleteA great present they would make, you will have to leave subtle (or big) hints everywhere I find it normally works.

They're great, aren't they? I'll have to check out their grating dishes too, Jill, you temptress, you!

I've not heard of this range before. I shall have to explore!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen a new CL publication 'Country Home' ? I think it's a collection of past Country Living interior features but oh my it's gorgeous. £9.99 from WH Smith - well worth treating yourself!
(hope you're well and not overdoing it x)
No, I haven't but I'll have a lookout! It sounds heavenly!
ReplyDeleteI love hearts! They look adorable. Maybe I shall take your hint and leave the page open to give my son enough time to save up to buy them for me on our Aussie Mother's Day in May.....or for my birthday a few weeks after that! Hee hee. Hope the tum is kicking along nicely! Cheers, Maria
ReplyDeleteOh, these look gorgeous, and all the ideas for different uses are definitely making them more attainable!
