It's YOU!
HOORAY!
And how are you feeling?
This post is to act as a little taster of the awesome giveaway,
which will be up
which will be up
THIS MONDAY.
Excited? I should coco.
Excited? I should coco.
The wholesome chunkiness.
The hand-finished pattern.
The reassuring quality.
And how's this for a quote from Emma Bridgewater herself?
Women are under such terrible pressure these days to be sex bombs and great chefs and good gardeners and fabulous parents and do their bit in the boardroom, that sometimes the only thing to do is sit down with a friend and a nice cup of coffee and create an oasis in the day....
Don't you just love that?
Oooh, look at those shapely mugs.
Do you like them?
Do you want them?
Do you want them?
I have a secret for you, my pretties.
You're in luck!
Boogie on by on Monday.
I think you'll have a big smile on your face....
That is a fabulous quote...and SO true! And yes, I love the shape of those mugs...the design is rather sweet as well! Have a lovely weekend Sarah! xo
ReplyDeleteI love the quote too. My sex bomb days are over alas, however I am VERY good at creating an oasis in the day, it is really me being very lazy but keep that to yourself. I have broken not one but two Emma mugs over the last few days so the giveaway has come at just the right time. I will be with you on Monday crossing my fingers and toes. xx
ReplyDeleteSuch cute mugs! And that quote is wonderful!

Too true!
ReplyDeleteI love Emma Bridgewater too - every piece!
I adore her pottery! I wish it wasn't so much $ in US currency :(
ReplyDeleteGreat quote by Emma B !
Wasn't it Boy George that said he'd rather have a nice cup of tea than sex? Obviously some of us have tea instead of sex which isn't quite the same thing, however if it was in that lovely EB china it I would be very satisfied indeed.

Love Emma Bridgewater mugs - so sturdy yet classy. However, here in the states, they are rather expensive to order.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog a few months ago and have enjoyed reading your posts. Your taste is simple and elegant.
Thanks so much for the Emma Bridgewater post.
Mary D.
I'll make that a cup of tea rather than a cup of coffee, if Emma doesn't mind... I see I'm here a bit early, checking your blog before going to work... I'll be back later... Do you think that with all that rain we're having lately your baby girl doesn't feel like hurrying to see the world?
ReplyDeleteThere is something so attractive about her china.
