where you can find more about how to get these solid wooden finials and poles...
to look like this painted-and-gilt-creamed curtain pole...
How beautiful do they look now, eh?!
Getting a gorgeously bespoke finish this way isn't as hard as you might think....and considerably cheaper than other options too!
In December, Relics of Witney will be showing a step-by-step guide about how gilt cream can give you Christmassy va-va-voom...so don't forget to subscribe!
Now, I'm off to prepare some yummy food for warming our tummies as we watch some more fireworks tonight!

Fantastic blog . I'm gary from curtainspolesblinds.com,I make up and install curtain poles and tracks but have to say that this look is by far one of my favourite! I've installed many of this design pole in mostly period properties. The occasional city pad too! Always well finished with a pair of heavy interlined pinch pleat curtains! Cozy, dramatic and a real room feature.
ReplyDeleteI'll stay posted :)
