What's coming up...

Hello poppet.

You want a cup of tea and a chat in my kitchen? Oooh, me too! Me too!

I hoped you'd come by.

{You're my favourite.}

:-)

And, look, a teapot in your honour!
I love using a teapot for tea.
It makes me feel oh-so grown-up.

I had some girlie friends round this week, for a bit of craftivity...and lots and lots of nattering.

{I love nattering with my girlie friends, don't you? It's one of my absolute favourite things to do.}

I got going on some Valentine's crafting which I can't wait to share with you.

My Heart and Cinnamon Garland is in the new edition of The DIY Club's gorgeous ezine. There's a version below this post if you'd like a look.

Oooh, I have a question for you....what do you think of this for a bit of eye-candy?

It's from my colour inspiration file. I really like the pale grey-blue paired with all the white.
But I la-la-la-love it as a kitchen too.

Can you guess which film it used as its inspiration? I'll be reviewing that very kitchen on Monday.

{Well, I say reviewing....it'll be more of an ogling-sesh.}
I've got SO much loveliness to show you.
I'm almost bursting with the excitement of it all.

*pop*

Well, you can't say I didn't warn you....

For me? Oh a tea pot and all...you shouldn't have!! ; )
I'm imagining that we (all the lovely girls that drop in at your place from their bloggy worlds) are perched around the bench in the glorious kitchen in your photo...all sitting around having tea and chatting about all things kitcheny & life in general...
Looking forward to Monday's review! Wishing you a restful weekend and may it be ironing free. Alison x

Thank you for your cup of tea even if, as a good Italian, I prefer the espresso coffee!
The blue gray is one of my favorite colors and I would use this color in my new home!
This kitchen is gorgeous and also enormous
I wait to see what you made for us ...
Have a wonderful weekend

Hi Sarah Sarah!

Would love to have a spot of tea in that kitchen...with you of course. It's everything I love and more. My eye is drawn to the floors and the lighting. The size will do on a pinch.

Congrats on being featured on the ezine scene! Awesome! I'm going over to take a peek!

Happy weekend!

Oooh, yes, there
is nothing like
a cuppa with girl
friends and 'lots
of nattering {love
that!} to make me
smile : ) I remember
really loving the
house in the movie
Something's Gotta Give,
which was set in the
Hamptons....I actually
have some movies that
I now like to watch
simply for the interior
shots, like The Holiday
and Father of the Bride.
Can't wait until your

Sarah, i love it when you call me poppet, poppet.

i'never tasted good tea. there. i've said it! but i'll sip diet coke in a pretty cup. and what's this nattering you speak of? i bet i'd like it. especially if it involves a kitchen like this one (which is a little like mine and a little like Diane Keaton's in SGG).

love your writing voice!

Sarah, what a cute cup for your tea, it suits you well. I cannot wait to see all that you've been waiting to show us, you've peaked my curiosity.
The kitchen , it looks similar to the one in the movie with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson, I think it's called Something's Gotta Give? Anyway, her kitchen in the movie was incredible, the entire home was gorgeous. This one is so roomy I might get lost! Stunning, xoxo tami

So so cute -- and if I ever come have a cup of tea with you in your kitchen you will have to teach me all these new fancy words like nattering and poppet. :) Much love - Greta

If I were really having a cup of tea with you, you would turn around and no longer have your teapot! I had my eye on this Emma Bridgewater teapot for month as there was one listed on "Le Bon Coin"... and when I finally decided to e-mail the person selling it, the ad was gone. I was so mad at myself for hesitating!
Love the white ang gorgeous kitchen!

Hi Sarah, You are my favorite too, you know :-) We are on day four of being housebound due to snow and I am pulling my hair out. Toys are everywhere, random potato chip bags in strange places, not a clean cup in house and the laundry is overflowing with wet clothes. I so need a cup of tea and a chat!!! Off to put my kettle on. Maybe I can bribe the older kids to play with Wilson for awhile?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I would so love to visit you and have a cup of tea and I will bring my Blueberry Dump Cake. What fun that would be. I think we share alot of the same inspirations when it comes to decorating. I'm loving that kitchen and the grey/blue walls with all the white cabinets.

Hello sweet Sarah,
I'm so glad to know that I'm your favorite, 'cuz you're my favorite, too! Your teapot is so pretty and so are the initial mugs. Very nice kitchen! I love that and it's probably about as big as the main floor on my house!

Hi again, Sarah,
It is so funny that we were on each others blogs at the same time. Funny too, because I was wishing as I put together today's post that I had asked permission from you to show your refurbished kitchen. I really love it and I thought it would go well with today's theme. I know you want to redo your kitchen again, but I must say, I really love it as is.
And I'm so glad that I am your "favorite"!;)
Hugs, Cindy

Oh, I just KNEW I was your favorite! How are you lovely lady? I'm so thrilled to be over here today and wish I could be among those girlies that get to come over for tea...although as I am craft challenged I would just have to watch the rest of you in action! :-) Congrats on the feature and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!
