I don't know about you but I'm getting to that time of year when I'm longing for Spring. Longing, yearning, craving.
I thoughtyou might like to see a photo of our garden at its peak.
Oh garden, I miss you.
But seed catalogues provide their own special brand of cheeriness for me in mid-January.
So much temptation!!
It brings Spring that little bit nearer...

Oh I couldn't agree more, this Winter seems to have lasted a lifetime, and I'm aching for the first of my little snowdrops to pop their pretty little heads up...

Greetings from snowy Virginia! Spring, with its pleasant weather and return to the garden, seems like a wonderful dream right about now. To combat the winter blues, it helps to work like crazy on inside projects, and spend as much time as possible in the warm greenhouse.

I know what you mean Sarah. We were looking at photos of our garden when we moved here last summer and I can't believe how bleak everything looks compared to then! Your garden is beautiful. Bring on Spring!

Oh my gosh Sarah, your garden is gorgeous! It makes me yearn to spend some time outside. I am so going to miss having a beautiful garden myself this year. Spring here in Alaska won't come until about May, so I have a long time to wait :( It feels like forever at this point.

That is a full garden and one that is a managable size....usually I cannot wait but this year I think I am still in recovery mode...so I can put it off for awhile yet in my thinking.

Sarah, why is it that you adorable English People have the most beautiful back yards, ever. And you even you call them Gardens, when we call them silly things like "back yards" which sounds so plain and ordinary. That picture is fantastic! Oh I want to be English so bad hehe is that wrong? I think we're long lost sisters seperated at birth across continents. I will have to work on our "garden" this Spring, which by the way will be here before you know it, don't worry. Wow Sarah, that is some garden. You don't see ones like that here in the desert. The water bill would be through the roof :-) It's beautiful!!!

I was flipping through the Christmas edition of Aussie Real Living magazine and guess what...kitchens...they referred to the kitchen from the movie Something's Gotta Give...I'm guessing that was the inspiration for the kitchen in the photo from your previous post! Love that movie : ) Alison x

Your garden is absolutely gorgeous, Sarah. I'm longing for spring. I've had enough winter, but there's another snow storm barreling toward us right now. This is the most snow we've had in years. It feels like it will never end.
I know.. I miss my garden too.. more and more it seems each day.. I even got out my dirty garden gloves the other day and have them displayed! How sad is that!

What a beautiful garden you have...there's something about English Cottage gardens that just touch my heart. I was fortunate enough to see a few in April 1999 when I visited my sister in England. We were on our way to Cornwall but stopped in Bourton On The Water for a couple of hours. Loved the Cotswolds. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! Have a wonderful weekend.

You do have a beautiful garden and I know "It will come back".. the law of Nature said so! But Mine,,ug! Although I live in Florida we here had a much colder winter than normal and my yard looks awful. I did get out this past week and did a bit of cleaning and bulb planting.. Just not happening fast enough for me.
