Modern Country Style: Kate Middleton Part 2

Hello peeps,

I don't know about you but I just can't get enough of
Kate Middleton's Modern Country Style.

Yesterday, I showed you some of my best Kate-casuals...so today I thought it might be nice to share my favourite of
Kate Middleton's smarter looks.

Kate Middleton, come on down.....

Doesn't she look lovely and pretty?

Frock-a-doodle-doo....

This next one is possibly my favourite dress of them all.
So beautiful and gorgeous.

Speaking of beautiful and gorgeous clothes,
I have to tell you the hilarious conversation I had with
Mr Modern Country last night.

Me: I bought a really lovely dressing gown today.
Mr MC: That sounds nice. What's it like?
Me: Well, it's silk in a sophisticated taupey colour.
Mr MC: *snorts* Huh! You're so funny. You sound like your blog.
Me: You're in trouble, sonny Jim.

I think his punishment should be to watch the WHOLE of the Royal Wedding with me. Yes, I do.
The WHOLE thing from start to finish.

Whaddayasay?

Ooh, and other news just in. I'm wondering if it's a bad thing to eat half my own body weight in Cadbury's Creme Eggs. They're eggs, right? How bad can they be?

Thanks, Sarah, for the pictures! She is a snappy dresser and one stunningly natural beauty. As for all newlyweds, wish them the best. And strength to them for what they have and are about to endure for the rest of their lives.
Regards,
~Pam

Not sure why I feel like hiding all the Easter candy and going on a diet :)
Kate has a great sense of style. She makes fashion look like fun! I'm praying for a safe and beautiful wedding.
I hope the hubby has fun watching the "Entire" wedding with you... Hee hee!
XOXO,

She looks great, so fun! I am excited to watch the wedding too, I remember watching his mom's and just dying over her dress! Can't wait to see what she is wearing;)

Oh Sarah you make me laugh!! I love Kate's style as well. I wish I had her figure. And yes, the Mister should watch the whole wedding with you. :)

Hilarious! Love the pics and Hubby's conversation from yesterdays blog. I wasn't going to watch the Royal Wedding with the time difference and all, yet.... these pictures have peaked my interest.

Bring on Friday, can't wait to see the dress and of course the flowers!!
My favs are her dresses, I'm not such a fan of the more formal suit look. As for the long Issa dress, I'm with you, definetly my fav, love it and want it - I can dream!

Unknown said...

To be honest, with that face and bod she'd rock any look! I love her long dresses, (but not so sure about the fascinators). Lawd love her, she's got a day in front of her tomorrow - hope the rain stays away! Is Mr MCS likely to snooze during the nuptuals?? x

Decor To Adore said...

Oh I adore her style too!

Since January I have been writing Royal Wedding Wednesday posts. Today is the linky party. Come by and feature your bit of brilliant Kate bliss.

My daughter and I watched a show about the upcoming wedding last night. I must admit, I'm a little caught up in it too. We want to stay up and watch the wedding, but I'm not sure we'll make it.
Cadbury creme eggs are a favorite of my husband too. He'd say they must be good for you :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Oh, that creme eggs were good for us! and oh, that I was a thin and tall as Miss Kate. Enjoy the wedding, my friend.

I am still loving my role as armchair fashion analyst. Thanks for putting all of it in one place!

She is just lovely in everything she wears. Can't wait to see all the TV coverage of the wedding!

just found your blog and had to comment, as it's so nice to find a fellow Brit who's excited about Friday!

I love Kate's style. I'm really hoping that the rumours are right and she'll be in Alexander McQueen. One thing I'm sure of though is her frock will be no meringue. Something sleek and elegant, and with her figure - why not?

I've booted my husband out this Friday, he can go and visit his mum, and leave me and our daughter to watch every single glorious moment without interruption!

Love your blog. So glad to have found it.

..I was wondering if you were getting in to the royal wedding hysteria over there. It's everywhere here, so I can't imagine what it's like there. I have to admit, I'm kinda excited about it even though it has really no impact on me over here at all. But it's fun!

She has a figure to wear any kind of dress...I think she will be a beautiful bride!

It's so much fun to see Kate in pictures that I haven't seen before! I love her sense of style, I hope she continues to dress young and refreshing after she is married!

Just don't dribble any chocolate on your sophisticated taupey dressing gown! Enjoy the wedding...I can't wait...I'll be sitting in my unsophisticated old pink dressing gown on Friday morning! Robx

Love it~ Kate's style and your Mr. MCC watching the wedding with you! Hugs, Courtney

Oh my word, look at that tiny little belly (or lack of it, actually) in the third photo!
I have come to the conclusion that even if a prince fell in love with me (assuming I was several years younger and single), I would not be able to marry him because I do not have the fashion sense or regal demeanor.

Beth said...

Great photos Sarah, I think she's stylish and elegant and am looking forward to watching the wedding. I'll be in my pj's as it's going to be reasonably late in the evening here in Australia, but I'll stay up to watch. As for the husband comment - mine read my blog the other day and said it was 'a bit twee'! He's now been banned from reading (or at least commenting)

The girl does have style! I can't wait to see what her wedding dress looks like!

Hehe, and I love your man's comment.

Sarah,
You crack me up! So funny! FYI, I'm watching a show on Prince Harry at this moment! They are having a lot of shows on the Prince's (?) and P. William and Kate, the whole family, very interesting! There went my intentions of not being involved with all that! Will be watching every minute! Kate is fabulous and her style is perfect! I haven't seen a lot of the photos you showed, your favorite gown is also my fave, love it! Everything here on Friday starts at 4am, so, if you'd just give me a call to wake me so I don't miss anything.....

Kate is truly a beautiful girl, I hope she is up to the job of being a princess. I hope she and Will love each other enough to get them through
what they will face with the paparazzi and being in the public eye so often.
Hugs, Cindy

Anita @ GoingALittleCoastal said...

Well the girl has got some legs that's for sure! Her style is classic and I don't think there was anything I didn't like. Except for those hats, not a hat person. I'd like to watch on friday but do I have to get up at 4am? That won't be happening!

Hello Sarah! Well, I think Kate is so pretty she could look good in just about anything.

As for those Cadbury eggs, just gobble them up and be done with it, then you don't have to think about them anymore. That's what I do anyway :)

Hugs ♥ Tricia

Only half your weight in Cadbury eggs???

Are you kidding???

I'm going for my entire weight.

Which will be considerable after all those eggs..........

I adore that feathery hat thingy Kate is wearing in the 4th photo.

Do you think she eats Cadbury eggs?

And, yes, I think you should make your husband watch the entire wedding.

Travel With Lulu said...

Eggs are good for you! They have all the vitamins, except for Vit C. You you munch away, girlfriend :)

I'm a little put off by the hats, Kate Middleton, but your dresses are quite lovely.

And yes, Mr. MC should definitely be required to watch the wedding in its entirety.
