A big Christmassy hello from my brand new laptop! My faithful old one died a very sad and painful death so I'm frantically trying to get used to this sparkly new-fangled thing in front of me!
But onto happier news: let's start this season as we mean to go on, enjoying each and every aspect of our homes as we look forward to a time spent focusing on what matters: family, close friendships and celebrating the amazing news that a Saviour, Jesus Christ, has been born, bringing hope to all.

my 10 favourite Modern Country Festive Front Doors?
Picking ten favourites is always hard but I hope these festive front doors get your creative juices flowing!
I love a good wreath at this time of year, don't you? I've often made my own in previous years but we're doing up our garden at present so there is very little suitable foliage...I shall be buying mine in...
But it's not just the wreaths that make these front doors super-festive...it's the small scale accompaniments too: a woodpile here, a fairy-lit standard tree there...
...the more space you have between your front door and any public space, the more you can go to town with this idea...
And any existing bare branches of plants, laden by Mr Jack Frost himself with twinkling, sparkly droplets of nature's own diamonds, add to it all the more.
But if you have very little space outside at all then fret not!
You're in good hands....
And there is PLENTY to occupy your festive flair inside your very own front door this Christmas!!
