Kate Moss' Wedding

Kate Moss: Super Modern Miss.
Don't you think?

But she chose to have a fairytale vintage country wedding.
Modern girl and Country wedding?
Errrr, hello?

That is surely to goodness
Modern Country Style territory,
I'd say.

And, as confirmation that this post was mean to be,
Kate Moss' house is in the Cotswolds.
And I live where?
Aaah, that's right.
In the Cotswolds.

A blog match made in heaven,
if ever there was one.

So today's post will cover the planning side of the wedding and tomorrow I can share the glorious gorgeousness of the day itself,
for those of us NOT invited to the wedding

A hint at the guest list.....

That'll be Paul McCartney.
Eeeek.

I lurrrrrve me some romance.

I lurrrve me an English Country Summer wedding.

Yes, this post makes me drooooool.
*swoon*

Can I write that about my own blog?
Too late. Just did.

To be honest,
I am jumping up and down,
begging myself to post again.

And soon.

Summer Weddings......
........oooooooh!

{Which reminds me to remind you that
my Summer Loving Link Party
is on Wednesday 24th August.
Come by and link up
all things summer-related.}

Just perfect. I'm secretly planning a renewing our vows ceremony (in 15 years!) for our 20th anniversary because I just can't get enough of all this wonderful wedding-y stuff. Keep it coming!

The idea of a beautiful bride exiting that charming stone church on the arm of her adoring new husband is almost more than I can stand! The rest of this (except for the totally over-the-top decadence of crystal and silver) is oddly similar to our daughter's wedding in June. It's great to see that even the rich and famous can appreciate the atmosphere of a country wedding.

More, please.

Really just gorgeous BUT... a bit stagey. For whatever reason, I really, really don't like that photo of the newly weds up there. They look like they are pretending... x

I have to say it does all look rather lovely.

I say this begrudgingly as I have never really got the whole Kate Moss thing - I think she is unremarkable to look at, too skinny and often dresses like she has covered herself in glue and run through Oxfam.

Of course, none of these opinions stop me wanting to see all the lovely pics, I do love a good wedding!!

I love all of these photos but the beauty of the first one takes my breath away, and I am not a Kate moss fan.

The cottswalds makes me swoon! I love it there and would love to spend more time there. My husband, brother, sister in law and our parents spent a week there walking. We stayed at the Manor Farm near chipping Camden, what a cute little market town. Of course we kitted ourselves up in wellies and Barbour coats, we had learned our lesson the year before on a trip to Scotland. I have enjoyed many adventures in Scotland and Britain as my brother lived there for over 10 years, he has just returned to the states and I am happy to have him closer to me!

Have a great day, looking forward to more of the wedding.

I've never follow Kate's career in part because I don't find her all that attractive and not the model type. Maybe that's why the modeling world went nuts over her during her heyday though.

However, it looks like she will have a truly beautiful wedding and hopefully will have a long, happy marriage, and that's way more important than superficial outside appearances any day!

Valerie@chateaualamode.typepad.com said...

Oh yes that is pure gorgeousness alright! Every single thing you posted...maybe the cake was my fave!
